Native ARM development for Treo 6xx

We've been asked to put together a Palm port of our SDKs and have a
simple app for the Treo. Because our stuff is pretty heavy on the
graphics, we would be only interested in running native ARM. We have
ported to PocketPC and done contracts so we know the devices are strong
enough (no pun intended). Problem is there doesn't seem to be any way
to do this. The prc-tools would be my preferred toolchain, but alas,
that does not support ARM, yet, hopefully. So, that pretty much leaves
only Metrowerks. No problem, I can go that route. Ooops, salesperson
says that I can't. Oh well. So what's a developer to do?

Is there a way to do some native ARM development for Palm OS 5.

In another question, how soon can one expect Palm OS 6 devices to be
available. And how will we build ARM executables for that. The PODS
tool change for sdk-6 does not seem to be building ARM objects
according to gcc -dumpspecs.

Thanks,

Mark.
