Dear pilot.programmer,

During the last year, falch.net (the group hoster) got down lots of
times. It finally went down during 28 oct until December 1, 2003.

I decided to pick up the torch and host all pilot.programmer.*
newsgroups. I spent lots of days setting up the news server,
converting all old messages from outlook format to linux INN one, and
searching and sending e-mail to all old users telling about the new
news server (i had created a set of java tools to help in the task).
All of this, to let the newsgroup be alive and kicking again.

The falch.net got up again during December, but no one knows until
when (i'm not kidding, i just tried to login to it and its down
again).

I also told all places where the old news.falch.net was referenced to
reference the new news server:

news://news.superwaba.net

Since December 1st, when the new news server was up and running until
now, there's about 1300 new messages in the groups hosted at it:

pilot.programmer
pilot.programmer.codewarrior
pilot.programmer.jump
pilot.programmer.gcc
pilot.programmer.pila
pilot.programmer.waba

I hope to see you there.

Happy questions.

Looks like superwaba is dead too. Anyone else carrying these groups, or
should I pick up the ball like I did with the pilot-unix and pilot-link
lists?
