usb - serial - serial manager?

Hi.

I wrote a Palm app that can comunicate with a radio modem by serial.
So, the palm can read from and write to the modem by serial.
Now I need to use PALMOS 5+, and I need to do same but with usb.
Questions:
1.- Can I do it? how?
2.- What's a "virtual serial driver"?
3.- What means "slave usb device"?

Hi,

Did you manage to setup a serial host without using a null serial cable on
your PC?
I have a program using serial port and I like to run it on Palm Simulator
and do some serial testings without using a null cable.
Any ideas how?
